You can do, in theory, but you will have to be able to show some proof of your business or work and how it needs the use of a commercial vehicle. The rules on usage are also very strict — absolutely no social, domestic, nor pleasure driving (including school runs) and you’re not even allowed, technically, to give co-workers a lift to work as that counts as outside work hours.
