Ford Ireland is looking for nominations for the nation’s best tradespeople, and your favourite chippy, sparks, or brickie could be in with a chance of winning a 12-month lease of one of five brand new Transit vans.
The nominations are being sought from both the trade and consumers alike, and the campaign is being fronted by TV personality and host of RTÉ’s DIY SOS, Baz Ashmawy, who is calling on the public to nominate a tradesperson they believe deserves recognition. Ford Ireland says: “Whether it’s someone known for their exceptional craftsmanship, reliability, or positive impact in the community, this is a chance to celebrate those who go above and beyond in their trade.”
Nominations are being sought in five categories: Greatest Painter/Decorator, Plumber, Carpenter, Electrician, and Gardener.
Ford seeking hardworking individuals
“This initiative is about more than just recognition; it’s about transforming lives and supporting the hardworking individuals who keep Ireland running smoothly every day,” says John Manning, Ford Ireland. “Ford has always been deeply rooted in Irish communities, and we’re proud to support the tradespeople who are the true heroes of our day-to-day lives.
